Games Without Frontiers

(2000 – 2002)

A series of interactive sculptural works that reimagined ancient games and iconic playthings at monumental scale.

At night, each installation opened to reveal an immersive theater set, where participants might suddenly find themselves in the midst of a larger narrative, or freely co-creating radically interactive experiences of their own.

Works included Anno Domino 2000, Lucky Seven Ages (2001), and Rubber Ducky (2002).

“Anno Domino 2000 engaged the vast desert space perfectly, reminding us of the true infinity of the sandbox in which we play out our game of life.” – Mark Van Proyen, Artweek Magazine
